Delivery & lifecycle

From understanding to dependable operation.

A clear sequence of decisions, responsibilities and acceptance points, and support that continues long after handover.

Project delivery lifecycle

Five stages. One accountable team.

  1. 1Discover & define

Site, operating requirements, existing systems, constraints and stakeholder expectations.

  2. 2Design & coordinate

Layouts, schedules, interface requirements and an agreed delivery basis.

  3. 3Install & integrate

Mobilise resources, coordinate access, install equipment and record progress.

  4. 4Test & hand over

Validate functions, resolve observations, orient users, assemble records.

  5. 5Maintain & improve

Support operation, schedule maintenance and identify improvements.

Design & interface coordination: engineering clarity before site execution

  • Design basis

Operating requirements, coverage objectives, capacity assumptions and applicable specifications.

  • Coordinated information

Equipment layouts, cable routes, racks and schedules coordinated with architecture, MEP and IT.

  • Interface ownership

Inputs, outputs and responsibilities across systems, including third-party dependencies.

  • Change control

Proposed changes reviewed for scope, compatibility, programme and cost before approval.

Deliverables

Approved drawings, equipment schedules, interface register, design assumptions and a controlled revision record, visible at every stage.

Quality & site execution

Installation quality you can inspect.

Disciplined workmanship supported by identification, checks and reviewable records.

Fire safety installation quality inspection
  • Material checks

Supplied equipment verified against the approved schedule, with model, quantity and condition recorded.

  • Cabling discipline

Routes, supports, segregation, terminations and identification per the approved requirements.

  • Equipment organisation

Rack layouts, cable management, equipment identification and practical service access.

  • Site coordination

Work fronts, access permissions and interfaces aligned with customer and other disciplines.

  • Inspection records

Agreed checklists, progress records and observation logs make installation status visible.

  • Corrective action

Non-conformances recorded, ownership assigned and closure verified before the next stage.

Quality checks are aligned to the approved project requirements and agreed inspection process.

Testing, commissioning & handover

Prove the system. Prepare the people.

Acceptance supported by functional evidence and clear operating information.

  1. 01Confirm readiness

Check installation completion, power, connectivity, labelling and the prerequisites for system testing.

    Record: readiness checklist
  2. 02Test individual functions

Validate device operation, configuration, indications and system functions against the test plan.

    Record: functional test sheets
  3. 03Validate interfaces

Witness the agreed sequence across connected systems with the responsible specialist teams.

    Record: integrated test results
  4. 04Orient the users

Demonstrate routine operation, fault reporting and the relevant authorised response procedures.

    Record: orientation and attendance
  5. 05Complete the handover

Provide as-built information, asset schedules, settings, test reports and operating documentation.

Record: handover index and acceptance status

Any open observations are recorded with an owner, action and agreed closure arrangement.

AMC & lifecycle services

Support that continues after handover.

Maintenance programmes built around the installed assets and the customer's operating priorities.

  1. 01Basic
    Annual inspection

One scheduled visit per year covering all installed systems. Visual inspection, functional test of detectors and devices, panel check and written report.

  2. 02Standard
    Bi-annual + priority response

Two scheduled visits per year plus priority breakdown response within 24 hours. Includes battery replacement and minor consumables.

  3. 03Premium
    Quarterly + 24×7 response

Four scheduled visits per year, 24×7 breakdown response within 4 hours, remote monitoring liaison, and an annual compliance report for NBC/BIS requirements.
