CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
All CCTV equipment must carry BIS-ER certification and meet STQC cyber-security norms. Locus supplies only compliant, Made-in-India certified models — no Hikvision, Dahua, or non-compliant makes.
Surveillance You Can Trust — and Comply With
From April 2026, the Government of India mandates that all CCTV equipment deployed in critical infrastructure, government premises, and commercial buildings must meet BIS-ER (Electronics & IT Goods) certification and STQC cyber-security norms. Non-compliant cameras — regardless of brand — cannot legally be installed in these categories.
Locus Fire & Security supplies and installs only from brands with certified, compliant models: Prama, CP Plus, Matrix, Sparsh, and Honeywell. Every system we design is built to IS 13252, ONVIF, and BIS CRS standards, and integrates cleanly with your existing access control and fire alarm infrastructure.
What We Supply & Install
IP Camera Systems
High-definition IP cameras with smart compression for efficient storage. Supports remote viewing, motion alerts, and integration with NVR/VMS platforms. Indoor and outdoor models available with IR night vision up to 50m.
PTZ & Dome Cameras
Motorised PTZ cameras for wide-area surveillance with auto-tracking. Fixed dome cameras for discreet indoor coverage. Vandal-resistant IK10-rated housings for high-risk and public-facing zones.
Bullet & Box Cameras
Long-range bullet cameras for outdoor perimeter and entrance monitoring. Varifocal lenses allow precise field-of-view adjustment post-installation. Suitable for harsh industrial and outdoor environments.
NVR / DVR Recording Systems
Network video recorders with redundant RAID storage for continuous recording. Supports simultaneous live view, playback, and remote access via secure mobile app. Scalable from small offices to large multi-building campuses.
Video Management Software (VMS)
Centralised platform for managing cameras across multiple sites from a single dashboard. Includes motion detection zones, intrusion alerts, and deep integration with access control and fire alarm systems.
AI Video Analytics
Edge or server-based analytics for automated threat detection — perimeter breach, unattended objects, crowd density, licence plate recognition (LPR), and loitering alerts. Dramatically reduces reliance on manual monitoring and enables proactive response.
Access Control & Fire Integration
CCTV systems integrated with access control panels for event-triggered recording — door forced open, access denied, or alarm activation automatically triggers camera capture and alert. Fire alarm integration enables automatic camera call-up to the affected zone.
AMC & Remote Health Monitoring
Scheduled maintenance covering camera cleaning, lens adjustment, storage health checks, and firmware updates. Remote monitoring dashboard flags camera faults, storage failures, and network issues in real time — before they become blind spots.
GoI Cyber Security Compliance — Mandatory from April 2026
From Survey to Handover
Site Survey & Risk Assessment
We walk every zone, identify blind spots, assess lighting conditions, and map cable routes before a single camera is specified.
System Design & Camera Layout
Camera placement drawings, field-of-view calculations, storage sizing, and network bandwidth planning — all documented and client-approved before procurement.
Supply of Compliant Equipment
All cameras and recorders sourced from BIS-ER certified, STQC-compliant brands. Full compliance documentation provided with delivery.
Installation & Commissioning
Structured cabling, camera mounting, NVR/VMS configuration, remote access setup, and integration with access control and fire systems.
Handover & AMC
User training, as-built drawings, compliance documentation, and ongoing AMC with remote health monitoring to keep the system performing at full capacity.
